Within the transport sector, environmental impact is a critical issue that needs to be recognised and acted upon. Capital's investment and commitment to Greenfleet is our start in a journey to address this important issue.

Corporate Social Responsibility has been a core business principle of ours for many years. Our legal, commercial and public responsibilities are met by management that is accountable. Our business is conducted ethically and with a strong social conscience. 

We seek to operate with sustainable business practices, which are supported by initiatives that generate a positive influence on society. We concentrate on four key areas: the environment, our marketplace, our community, and our workplace. 

Our ongoing commitment to Greenfleet already includes the future planting of more than 21,000 trees within permanent native forests throughout Australia. These trees will help to offset some of the damaged caused to the environment through CO2 emissions and other business related activity. 

Capital Transport's strategic plan is to become carbon neutral and our partnership with Greenfleet is the first step to achieving this goal.
